Made by Emblem hosts a drop-in life drawing session on the last Wednesday of each month! Come join Erik Mohr (Creative Director) for a relaxed evening filled with mark-making. Sessions are welcome to all levels, and attendees should provide their own materials.
What to expect
This is an informal drawing group. We'll have some music playing and a few snacks for the break. We start with some quick gestures (short 30-second poses, 1-minute & 2-minute poses), then move into longer poses. Generally, the longer poses are around 15-20 mins. We take two short breaks and one longer break halfway through the session. There will be a different nude model for each session. We ask that people be respectful of the model. For anyone unfamiliar with life drawing etiquette, please reach out and ask questions!
